I am a co-op student for the summer and I have to do a marketing project for the company I am working for. For this project, the company is giving away samples of its garden products to state gardening clubs. I have to email these clubs to create interest in receiving the free samples and am looking for any insight people have about what is important to garden club members and what the email should concentrate on (i.e. free product, education, etc.). Please post any comments you have that might help. Thanks!

Garden clubs bring a wealth of knowledge to people who share the passion for gardening, regardless of their experience in gardening. So I would say providing opportunities to learn more about plants and how to successfully grow a garden in their 'zone' would be of interest to most members.
